My experiment

By the end of yesterday (Sunday 26 Sept 2010), I made few more cupcakes for my friends at work.. especially for my dear friends who have made many promotion for the Cupcakes Land :) *thanks so much Yenni and Irma..*

After the 3D farm animals, I made 2D farm animal.. but could only started with this pinky piggy :D (and I'm open for some more 2D farm animal figures of course...)

And I made some more ulet keket, my new fave.. with flower and butterfly cuppie..

Also introducing the new package.. this one is free of charge for any order :)

Cupcakes in Tiers

These are also cupcakes made last weekend.. This one is for our own.. :p
My hubby's friends from work visited Caca Land for a BBQ and I  made some cupcakes for the dessert, especially for the kids..

Since the time to prepare was quite limited (taking into account the preparation for the halal bihalal cupcakes on Sunday), so I made some simple ones. Well this was also the chance for me to make some experiments on new decoration..

I've been thinking of making a fllower cupcake and use a lollipop as the flower :p

Other new decoration I made was the cutie 'ulet keket' which I discovered that I like a lot.. hehe..

The theme was "In The Garden", with the lollipop flowers, cutie worms, butterflies and flowers.. placed in my sweetie tiers.. (actually there are 3 tiers, but I managed to fit the cupcakes in 2 tiers)

I was great knowing people loved them.. I prepare some boxes for them to take the cupcakes home (also for their kids who didn't come with the parents).. I love seeing them eagerly putting the cupcakes in boxes (also by those who don't have any kids yet.. *grin..* )

So, the BBQ by my hubby and the cupcakes by me were a success..!! :)

Cupcakes for Halal Bihalal

Last weekend cupcakes were cupcakes for halal bihalal. Having discussed with Mbak Iesje, the person who ordered the cupcakes, we decided to have 'ketupat' as the topper.. and I put some sprinkles to decorate the cuppies.. :)

The cupcakes were for goodybag for the family halal bihalal, so I packed them in the transparent boxes like this:

Cupcakes Set for Birthday Boy

Now is the cupcakes set for a boy..

Banyu is having his 2nd birthday. His mom, Liza requested the cupcakes set with boy figurine and some cars decoration since the birthday boy loves cars.

I was really happy when I heard Liza said that her auties, who love to cook, said that the cupcakes were great and the taste was also very nice.. Thanks for the compliment.. :))

Farm Animals for Matthew's Birthday

Happy 3rd birthday Matthew..!!

The order from her lovely mom, Mathilda just made 3 days before the D-day..and it was during the lebaran holiday, when I didn't have any assistant at home. (it was just me and Calya during the holiday).

But, I decided to take the order. I made a cupcake for Matthew once, with pig or dog figurine and his Mom loved it. So she asked for the same thing. This time with 4 combinations of farm animals:

Under the Sea Birhtday Cake

This time is a birthday cake time..!! :)

My first birthday cake for my lovely friends Irma and Tiessa..
however, since the attendees are our kids, so the birthday cake was prepared for the children.
I chose the 'under the sea' theme which I thought would be suit for the kids..

The cake is decorated with Nemo the clown fish, octopus, friendly whale, reddish crab and starfish.. and they love it!!

The base cake was the famous 'brownies kukus Ny. Liem'... Thank you Ny. Liem for publishing your favorite recipe..

after being decorated with birthday candles (the candles were chosen because there were many kids wanted to blow the candles.. hehehe..)

Happy Birthday Itha

This is another girly cupcakes set for Itha of Sampoerna..
The person who ordered the cupcakes was inspired by Isabelle's cupcakes and also requested for a girly figurine.. This time the figurine is customized to look like Itha, who is having long hair and wearing glasses..

She loves coffees.. especially starbucks.. so I made some cups of starbucks coffee...
she also loves shopping and ice cream, so I made 2 girly bags and some ice cream..
*well.. the order just loved the cupcakes set for Isabelle, so she asked for the same figurine as the ones for Isabelle*

One other thing.. as the cupcakes set contains of 10 cupcakes (where the usual is 9 cupcakes), the cupcakes set is design in a triangle shape..

It's lovely knowing that grown ups also like my cupcakes.. they enjoy the taste of the cupcakes... they said they taste just right.. also with the combination of the sweet fondant.. :))

Happy Birthday Isabelle

This is the first cupcakes set for a girl ordered by her mom, Ingkan Tiara, for her daughter's 3rd birthday..
The difficult part is that the order does not specify anything what she wants for the cupcakes set..

So I figure out myself.. and I prepared a little girl figurine as the center of the attention and other details related to a birthday party,, such as gifts, lollypop and ice cream..

Thank God, she loved and enjoyed the cupcakes with her brother and cousins..
